I am a little boy who looks up at the stars and wonders why, who enjoys the thrill of climbing a mountain on a slippery path, who wonders how thin is the edge of the moment that separates the past from future…
I am the little boy who sometimes tries to be a grown up, fails miserably, and feels good about it. I am the wanderer who wonders how fast we are moving in the cosmos, from where, to where, and whether there is a reason.
I wonder whether the presence or absence of reason makes a difference — if so, how. I smile at the idea of God, and of his non-existence. The concept of ‘security’ is something I am trying hard to understand.
I realized I was not meant to be a writer for writing, an engineer for engineering, and a painter for painting. When colors visit me, I shall paint; when words visit me, I shall write, and when curiosity visits me, I shall wonder, observe and engineer. The cosmos and life — each is my best friend and enemy.
I was born and raised in Amritsar, went to a college in Madras, then another in Philadelphia. I spent some of my time doing analysis near New York, and then enjoyed learning some physics in Waterloo! Presently, I am simply loving the scenic beauty of the Bay Area, and having a great time at my work here.
